As an Accounting and Payroll Professional, your contributions to the organization are easily acknowledged as you work with others to balance the books and keep a record of payroll processes.

This program also uses SAP ERP meaning students could elect to write SAP Certification alongside their diploma.

Admission Requirements

Applicants with a prior Degree or Diploma in either a 3-year Diploma or a University degree in Engineering, Technology, Management, Finance, Insurance, Social Sciences, Sciences, or Administration; or holders of professional designations in ACCA, CPA, and ICAN are eligible for admission.

Semester 1

Course Name	Learning Outcome
Fundamentals of Economics	At the end of this course, students should be able to demonstrate knowledge in micro and macro economics by analyzing specific situations in business life and be able to provide concrete presentations to solve a firm's or enterprise's business problems.
Financial Accounting Principles	Develop a General Understanding of accounting principles, Explain Accounting Procedures, Demonstrate Bookkeeping Process, Prepare Financial Statements
Quantitative Analysis	At the end of this course students are expected to have learned the fundamentals of quantitative techniques specific to the application of quantitative analysis in making business decisions and strategy.
Enterprise Risk Management	The participants of this course are expected to learn the fundamentals of enterprise risk management and its application in the real business world by working on relevant case scenarios.

Semester 2

Course Name	Learning Outcome
Financial Reporting	At the end of this course leaners should understand the principles of financial reporting, its components, and able to analyze business decisions.
Managerial Accounting	Students are expected to understand the fundamental concepts of managerial accounting and its application within the firm structure.
Corporate Finance and Restructuring	At the end of this course, students should be able to demonstrate knowledge of corporate finance and identify factors leading to corporate finance restructuring, debt financing, equity financing, and developing strategies for corporate financing and development.

Semester 3

Accounting Information Systems	At the end of this course, students should be able to demonstrate their knowledge of information systems and their application to Accounting principles.
Canadian Taxation	Understand the Income Tax Act, Apply Canadian Income Tax Law, Prepare Simple Corporate Tax Returns, and Understand the accounting treatment of taxation on the balance sheet.
Finance Technology	At the end of this course, students are expected to demonstrate knowledge of finance technology through tests and practical presentations of their projects and research.

Semester 4

Professional Standards and Ethics	At the end of this course, students should be able to demonstrate knowledge of the subject matter through exams, exercises, and presentations.
